Canadian Minister Of Foreign Affairs, Stephane Dion, requested from Canadians to donate in support of the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 during the annual Iftar event organized by Voice of Egypt in Canada. This year, The Voice of Egypt event was honoring Hospital 57357’s affiliate and supporter, the fundraising, tax deductible, Canada – based nonprofit, Egypt Cancer Network (ECN) Canada. During his recent visit to Egypt last May, Dion had paid a visit to the Hospital and had been impressed by the magnitude of free quality healthcare services offered to the children with cancer there. The president of the board of ECN Canada, Dr. Mohamed Aggag, revealed that through the Network, 80,000 Canadian Dollars’ worth of donations were collected this year during several fundraising events in Toronto and Montreal.
